Friday 3pm (EST)/12pm (PST) was our Conversation on Culture featuring New York-based artist and filmmaker Ajamu Kojo with Niama Safia Sandy! The event coincided with and touches upon the anniversary of The Black Wall Street Massacre (a.k.a. The Tulsa race massacre) May 31– Jun 1, 1921 in which 300 Black people were killed, over 10,000 left homeless, and 40 blocks of the Greenwood neighborhood of Tulsa, known as Black Wall Street, were left smoldering.
