In her bio, she notes that in her work she “romanticizes nature’s sublimity and the essence of life.” Okore is a professor of art at North Park University in Chicago, where she chairs the art department and teaches courses in art theory and sculptural practices. She also states that she is “currently working on multiple environmental engagements and collaborations in Chicago and Nigeria.”
