While there is no shortage of remarkable vintage photographs on view at AIPAD’s The Photography Show this year, it’s the contemporary photography, which is most prominent when entering the fair, that continually catches the eye.

The 38th edition of the Association of International Photography Dealers (AIPAD) features 96 galleries and 36 book dealers, publishers and photography-related organizations from 14 countries and 49 cities at Pier 94 in New York.

Highlights of contemporary photography include new, must-see pictures by a couple of the artists in MoMA’s latest edition of “New Photography,” in particular Aida Muluneh staged, dreamy portraits at Jenkins Johnson Gallery
